He walks away, not toward. His lantern isn’t for others—it’s for himself. I drew him in winter, but he isn’t seasonal. He’s a refusal of spectacle, a quiet protest against being named. The red hood is not festive—it’s a boundary. Some call him Christmas Pixie. I let them. But I know he’s something else: a figure of dignity, walking through cold with warmth that doesn’t ask permission.
